Karen Salvemini (left in photo) attends Widener University School of Law where she is a Senior Staff member of the Widener Law Journal and received a Certificate of Achievement in Criminal Law. Her Comment, Sex Offender-Parents: Megan’s Law and Schools’ Legal Options in Protecting Students Within Their Walls has been selected for publication in the upcoming issue of the Widener Law Journal. Ms. Salvemini previously clerked for the Honorable William E. Ford, Lehigh County Court of Common Pleas in 2007. Ms. Salvemini will be a third-year student at Widener this Fall. Amanda J. Lavis (right in photo) attends Villanova University School of Law. Ms Lavis clerked for The Honorable J. Wesley Oler, Cumberland County Court of Common Pleas in 2004. She also obtained an M.B.A. in Entrepreneurship and Market Research from Shippensburg University in 2007. Ms. Lavis will be a second-year student at Villanova this Fall.
