Since joining Rhoads & Sinon in 1971, Sherill Moyer has gained a national reputation for his expertise in Pennsylvania corporate tax law. He has successfully argued numerous Pennsylvania corporate tax cases of special significance due to their constitutional implications. He regularly appears before the Commonwealth Court and the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, as well as the Board of Finance and Revenue and the Board of Appeals in the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue. Additionally, Mr. Moyer is the author of a two-volume comprehensive treatise on Pennsylvania corporate tax law, Pennsylvania Corporation Tax Law and Practice.
Mr. Moyer has also handled numerous corporate acquisitions and has assisted private developers in acquiring, financing, zoning and leasing large-scale commercial and industrial projects.
