Stephanie DiVittore concentrates her practice in the area of litigation, with a focus on commercial, environmental, special education and land use law. She has handled commercial litigation on behalf of businesses, school districts, insurance companies, municipalities and municipal authorities. Her experience in commercial litigation and land use law involves business disputes, construction claims, tax assessment appeals, zoning disputes, discrimination and FMLA claims.
Through her environmental work, Ms. DiVittore has experience in DEP regulatory programs, including erosion and sedimentation permits, general permits and NPDES permits. She has assisted clients impacted by the Clean Streams Law and DEP water quality regulations. She has extensive experience in the waste industry with matters involving permitting, flow control, Act 90 and compliance issues.
Ms. DiVittore has also represented clients in various aspects of special education law, including representation of school districts at due process hearings and in federal court. She works with school districts concerning ongoing issues facing school district clients in special education law and practice, as well as teacher discipline.
Ms. DiVittore’s practice also involves family law including, divorce, custody, adoption, alimony, spousal and child support and equitable distribution.
