Tom Nehilla is an experienced member of the firm’s Real Estate practice group. He concentrates his practice in commercial real estate and infrastructure development projects, as well as the financing of such projects. His experience has permitted him to successfully represent and counsel individuals, small businesses and large corporate clients in such matters as the purchase and sale of commercial real estate, commercial leasing, planned communities and condominiums, leverage leases and buyouts. Additionally, he assists in the representation of various municipal authorities, including the Susquehanna Area Regional Airport Authority, which was formed to own and operate the Harrisburg International and Capital City Airports.
In conjunction with his real estate practice, Mr. Nehilla also practices in the areas of banking and financing. In his representation of both financial institutions and borrowers, he is able to provide clients with a unique insight and full understanding of the complex issues involved in a variety of financial transactions. Mr. Nehilla has authored an article which has been published in the Corporation, Banking and Business Newsletter, entitled "Providing Lenders with Protection Against the Risk of Substantive Consolidation of Entities in Bankruptcy."
