Entertainment Curriculum Vitae
Todd Shill is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. His practice focuses on representing employers in all aspects of employment law and litigation, including gender, age, disability, and race discrimination cases, wrongful discharge and breach of contract cases, wage cases, cases under the Family and Medical Leave Act, non-compete and breach of fiduciary duty injunctive relief cases, and unemployment compensation cases. Mr. Shill has served as a mediator in federal court litigation, and regularly represents employers before state and federal courts in Pennsylvania and many other states, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Bureau of Unemployment Compensation. In addition to representing medium to large-sized Pennsylvania businesses, Mr. Shill has acted as lead litigation counsel to national companies such as Cingular Wireless, LLC, AT&T Wireless Services, Inc., AT&T Mobility, LLC, Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., T-Mobile USA, Inc., DirecTV, and McDonald's Corp. Mr. Shill is also a frequent lecturer and regularly trains human resources and personnel managers, supervisors, and in-house counsel regarding employment-related topics. Mr. Shill has authored several articles for training purposes, and has been featured in Law360's popular Employment Law newsletter and website.
In addition to his Employment & Labor practice, Mr. Shill has acted as lead counsel in many commercial litigation cases and is also one of the founding members of the firm’s Entertainment & Sports practice group. Mr. Shill represents on-air TV and radio personalities, authors, screenwriters, and film directors. He has appeared on Dateline NBC and has successfully negotiated and reviewed contracts with entertainment companies such as Fox, the Sundance Film Channel, FuseTV, NBC/Universal, and Cumulus Media. The firm's Entertainment & Sports practice group has a growing list of celebrity clientele.
