Rhoads & Sinon's Paul Bruder helps the York County IDA Secure Environmental Liability Protection for Harley-Davidson Site in York
After months of negotiating, the York County IDA reached an agreement with Harley Davidson and the state Department of Environmental Protection which will help clear the way for the IDA to purchase the West Campus of the Harley site in York County without fear of liability for existing contamination on the property. Paul Bruder, chair of the firm's Environmental Practice Group, led the negotiations for the IDA, which resulted in a Buyer Seller Agreement that will provide the IDA with Act 2 liability protection for both known and unknown contamination that exists on the site.
